Supervisor Corley assisting early voting pollworkers disassembling privacy booths at the end of early voting.

October 28, 2010 - Absentee Canvassing

Twenty-five volunteers aided the Pasco County Canvassing Board and elections’ office staff with the canvassing of over 17,000 absentee ballots.

Supervisor Corley addressed the Wiregrass Ranch High School Young Democrats/Young Republican/Young Independent Club.

 

October 19, 2010 - Cub Scout Pack 3 Visit

Supervisor Corley hosted Cub Scout Pack 3 in the Land O" Lakes office. The Scouts learned about the Importance of Voting.

July 26, 2010 - Privacy Booth Cleaning

The Supervisor of Elections' Office partnered with Sheriff Bob White to utilize inmate labor for the cleaning of our 2400 privacy booths.

July 7, 2010 - Beef O' Brady's Registration Drive

Outreach Ambassadors, Pat and Ray Brown staffed our booth at the New Port Richey Beef O' Brady's registration drive on July 23, 2010.

 

July 7, 2010 - Recognition Ceremony

Supervisor Corley attended the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office Swearing In and Recognition Ceremony at Bishop McLaughlin High School.

 

July 1, 2010 - Vote by Mail Mass Mailing

Elections’ office staff and volunteers prepared nearly 18,000 Primary Election vote by mail ballots for a mass mailing at the Elections Service Center.

 

 

June 15, 2010 - Community Hospital Registration Drive

Outreach Volunteers Kay and Charles Kupsis staffed our voter registration booth at the Community Hospitals' voter registration drive for visitors and hospital staff on June 15, 2010.

 

June 2, 2010 - Mitchell High School Top 10 Dinner

Supervisor Corley was the Keynote speaker at the Mitchell High School Academic Top 10 Awards Dinner sponsored by the Rotary Club of Seven Springs.

 

May 12, 2010 - KVTB Meeting

Supervisor Corley attends the annual meeting of the Kids Vote Tampa Bay (KVTB) at 10 Connects Studio in St. Petersburg.

 

 

April 22, 2010 - West Pasco Realtor Trade Show

Supervisor Corley with Ambassadors David and Midge Prace at the West Pasco Board of Realtors Trade Show (Western Theme) on April 22nd conducting a voter registration/voter update drive, in addition to a DS200 Optical Scanner demonstration.

 

April 20, 2010 - SASSY Event

March 29, 2010 - Cypress Elementary

Supervisor Corley was a guest reader for the students of Cypress Elementary School on March 29th; He read "Grace for President" during Morning announcements.

March 23, 2010 - Gulfside Elementary

Supervisor Corley spoke the students of Gulfside Elementary about the importance of voting on March 23, 2010.

 

March 20, 2010 - Chasco Fiesta Parade

Supervisor Corley participated in the Chasco Fiesta Parade in New Port Richey on March 20, 2010. Secretary of State, Kurt Browning (left), Jim Hollingsworth (right), staff members, Joyce Martin and Elieen Magana, as well as Supervisor Corley's children Sarah and Joseph, joined the parade festivites.

 

March 19, 2010 - Greek Independence Flag Raising Ceremony

Supervisor Corley presented a proclamation to the Hellenic Americans of Pasco County during the Greek Independence Flag Raising Ceremony outside the New Port Richey Government Center on March 19, 2010.

 

March 16, 2010 - Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point's Voter Registration Drive

Staff member, Joyce Martin and Outreach Ambassador, James Gradl, staffed our voter registration booth at the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point's voter registration drive on March 16, 2010.

 

March 13, 2010 - Founders Day Parade

Supervisor Corley participated in the Zephyrhills Founder's Day Parade. 2010 marked the 100th Anniversary!

 

February 15, 2010 - Celebrity Milk-Off

For the fourth year, Supervisor Corley participated in the annual “Celebrity Milk-Off” at the Pasco County Fair, and for the fourth year, Supervisor Corley was unsuccessful in retrieving any significant amount of milk. Better luck next year!

 

February 15, 2010 - Pasco County Fair

We Won! For the eighth year in a row, the elections office won first-place at the Pasco County Fair for “Best Commercial Exhibit Depicting Fair Theme”. As part of voter education/outreach, the Supervisor of Elections’ office had an exhibit in Higgins Hall at the Pasco County Fairgrounds. In keeping with the fair theme, “How Sweet It Is”, the elections office re-created the Candy Land game board dubbing our position on the board “Sweet Land of Liberty.”

Voter outreach ambassadors, Jack and Phyllis Burdi, are pictured working a shift at the booth. Ambassadors staffed the booth during fair hours for the remainder of the week offering voter registration and assisting in conducting a survey for the Pasco County Fair Association.

January 20, 2010 - City clerks Meeting

Supervisor of Elections, Brian Corley, met with the city clerks and their staff on January 20, 2010 at the Land O' Lakes Community Center. The meeting was geared toward preparing the clerks for the upcoming municipal elections to be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
