The Pasco County Supervisor of Elections verifies tens of thousands of initiative petitions each year. The petitions, signed by Pasco County voters, are submitted to our office by various organizations and committees seeking the required number of valid signatures in order to be placed on a General Election ballot. Voter signatures on the petitions are compared to the voter’s signature on the voter registration file.
Pursuant to Florida Statute 100.371(11)(b), Pasco County’s actual cost of signature verification of an initiative petition is $0.75.
